a week later

i dont like that i havent posted in a whole week. that's really poor form for a blogger. i will try to remedy that this week. although, i will warn you that when i head home on thursday, it will not be easy to post. hopefully pix will be the main body of those posts.

anyway.....last week was really long and it seems like it was AGES ago, not one week ago. On Tuesday morning, Caroline and I went to help our buddy Kim paint her new Watertown apartment. It's seriously only 5 minutes (depending on the lights) from my place...which makes me really stoked!! She and her husband will be moving in once they're married so we were getting the place livable and looking pretty. We painted and cleaned all day on Tuesday and Wednesday--when i say all day...i mean all day. like 9-8ish on Tuesday and 10-7ish on Wednesday. Then Thursday was the move. A bunch of other people came to help and we moved ALL their stuff in. (Chris drove a moving truck from Iowa with his brother and slept at the place the night before.) We stayed late again and were treated by Kurt (the brother) to yummy food for dinner. It thunderstormed that night too which was AWESOME!

Friday was pretty chill. I don't really remember what I did...that's sorta scary. Saturday was supposed to be Gloria's graduation, but on account of the rain, it was postponed leaving Nathan and I free to wander out to Princeton, Mass for Amy's graduation party. Woot!! IT was a good time aside from our 30 minute detour (yes, we got lost). Emily Grace was with us and yeah....she and i released our frustrations through a good frolick in the rain.

Sunday was basically Gloria's graduation (in the rain) and then linnerack (lunch/dinner/snack) with the family. She was anxious to hang out with friends and go to grad parties so it was a quick meal. No worries though; i always love being with their family.

today i realize i have not much of anything pressing to do. i'm preparing for summer project, which for me starts in 2 days. i need to do a few things like make some support phone calls, clean my house b/c i've basically made a big mess, email my small group girls, and pack for California. i am actually quite bored and i'll be excited to get the project started and get to California on Thursday!!!
